～Midnight Dejavu～ 色彩のブルース

I've had this single on repeat since it arrived, the title track's smoky, noir-ish swing is exactly what I needed, and getting three live cuts on the same disc is a real bonus. The live version of "かつて..。" has this raw energy that makes me wish I'd been in the room.

The live version of “Nervous Breakdown” has this raw energy that makes me wish I'd been in the crowd, and the title track still gives me chills every time.

The studio version of “色彩のブルース” is so lush and cinematic, but it’s the three live cuts that make this single feel like a proper document—Nervous Breakdown especially has this unhinged energy that the original can’t touch. I’ve played it three times today already.
