Mr.Children ２００１-２００５<micro>(Edição Normal)

Finally got this album and "くるみ" alone was worth the purchase, the guitar riff hits me right in the feels every time. The tracklist flows perfectly from the upbeat "youthful days" to the mellow "Sign".

The transition from "優しい歌" straight into "youthful days" is a perfect one-two punch that sets the tone for the whole album. Every track here sounds like a lost single, and the guitar work on "Drawing" is especially crisp and clean. I've been listening to this on repeat since it arrived.

This tracklist is basically a time capsule of their best mid-2000s work, and hearing "HERO" and "タガタメ" back-to-back still gives me chills. The sound quality on the disc is crisp, too, so the acoustic guitar in "Drawing" really pops.
