Phantom of Love（ピクチャーレコード）［12inch Vinyl］

The sound quality on this 30th anniversary picture disc is surprisingly clean—much better than I expected from a vinyl like this. "Phosphorus (Phantom Edition)" has a depth that makes the movie theme feel alive.

I was a bit worried the picture record might affect sound quality, but the vinyl is dead quiet during the quieter parts of "Phosphorus." That 30th anniversary edition really shines on side B's Right on—great dynamic range.

The picture record design perfectly captures the album's moody atmosphere, and the sound quality on "Aqua Robe" is surprisingly clear for a vinyl. I was a little skeptical about the Phantom Edition of "phosphorus" but it fits beautifully with the B-side flow.
