[(imitatie) bloedsinaasappel] (Standaard editie)

The transition from the hypnotic opener into "Marshmallow day" caught me off guard in the best way—such a playful shift in mood. This whole album feels like a journey, with "イミテーションの木" being my unexpected favorite for its layered sound. Definitely been on repeat since it arrived.

Track 4 really got me—the way the vocal melody twists through the chord changes feels almost hypnotic. I've had it on repeat for days and still notice something new in the arrangement each time.

I was blown away by the layered harmonies on track 4 “常套句” — the way the piano builds under the vocals is just gorgeous. It's the kind of album that gets better with every listen, each song revealing something new.
