ap bank fes '09 DVD: What's on the Three-Disc Festival Film

Questions about the ap bank fes '09 DVD

How is the ap bank fes '09 DVD organized?

The release is split across three discs. DISC1 opens with two Bank Band performances, then alternates documentary segments with guest performances from GAKU-MC, 中村 中, My Little Lover, 福原 美穂, 大塚 愛, 甲斐よしひろ and トータス松本, closing with a Bank Band with トータス松本 track and an eco-reso talk. DISC2 continues the pattern with documentary segments, guest songs from 伊藤由奈, KREVA, Salyu, スガ シカオ, 今井美樹 and 石井竜也, and Bank Band performances. DISC3 carries the heaviest guest block, including キマグレン, JUJU, 秦 基博, 一青 窈 and 倖田來未, plus 矢沢永吉 and Mr.Children, and ends with Bank Band with Great Artists & Mr.Children performing 'to U'.

Is this a full concert film or a compilation?

The supplied track list shows a compilation-style structure rather than one continuous concert. Documentary segments are numbered 1 through 10 across the discs, and the performances are interleaved with them. If you want a single uninterrupted set, this release is not organized that way; if you want a broad overview of the festival's lineup, the three-disc spread delivers that.

What are the eco-reso talk extras?

Each disc ends with an extra track labeled 'eco-reso talk' — talk1 on DISC1, talk2 on DISC2 and talk3 on DISC3. The supplied information names them but does not describe their content, so treat them as bonus material rather than a known feature.

Which disc has the most guest artists?

DISC3 lists the longest run of guest performances: キマグレン, JUJU, 秦 基博, 一青 窈, 倖田來未, 矢沢永吉 and Mr.Children, alongside Bank Band. DISC1 and DISC2 each mix a smaller number of guests with more Bank Band material and documentaries. If you are buying for a particular artist, check which disc lists them before ordering.

Does the DVD include Mr.Children?

Yes. DISC3 lists a Mr.Children block of seven songs — 'Simple', 'エソラ', '彩り', 'タダダキアッテ', 'overture', '蘇生' and '終わりなき旅' — followed by 'to U' with Bank Band with Great Artists & Mr.Children. That makes DISC3 the disc to check if Mr.Children is your reason for buying.

Is the catalog price a good deal?

The catalog lists the price at USD 4321.50 against a comparison price of USD 5762.00. That is a catalog comparison, not a live market valuation, and prices for imported Japanese music releases can vary widely. Use it as a reference point and confirm the current price at checkout rather than treating it as a fixed value.

Is this the right festival live DVD for a first-time buyer?

It suits viewers who want a multi-artist snapshot of the ap bank fes '09 lineup and are comfortable moving between performances and documentary segments. It is less suited to someone who wants one complete concert by one artist. The supplied record does not include region coding, runtime or subtitle details, so check those on the product page if they matter to your player setup.
