LIVE AT TOKYO DOME DVD: What to Expect from the Concert Film

Quick answer

Buy the LIVE AT TOKYO DOME DVD if you want both nights of BABYMETAL's September 2016 dome shows in one two-disc set. Skip it if you only want one setlist or prefer a single-disc release.

Two nights, two different setlists

This is not one concert split across two discs. DISC1 captures the RED NIGHT from September 19, 2016, and DISC2 captures the BLACK NIGHT from September 20. The two nights share a venue but not a running order, so the setlist is the main reason to choose this edition over a single-show DVD.

If you are comparing dome live recordings, check which night each release documents. A two-night set gives you more material, but it also means you need to be interested in both shows rather than one highlight performance.

What the RED NIGHT disc contains

The RED NIGHT disc lists 13 tracks, opening with Road of Resistance and closing with THE ONE -English ver.-. In between are songs including ヤバッ!, いいね!, シンコペーション, Amore -蒼星-, GJ!, 悪夢の輪舞曲, 4の歌, Catch me if you can, ギミチョコ!!, KARATE, and Tales of The Destinies.

The English-version closer is worth noting if you already own the Japanese-language version of THE ONE elsewhere; it is a different track listing detail, not a bonus feature.

What the BLACK NIGHT disc contains

The BLACK NIGHT disc lists 12 tracks, starting with BABYMETAL DEATH and ending with イジメ、ダメ、ゼッタイ. The middle of the set includes

Because the two nights share only a few titles, the BLACK disc is not a duplicate of the RED disc. Treat them as two separate concert films in one package.

Common questions about this release

Is this one concert or two?

It is two concerts: RED NIGHT on September 19, 2016, and BLACK NIGHT on September 20, 2016, each on its own disc.

How many songs are on each disc?

DISC1 lists 13 tracks and DISC2 lists 12 tracks. The exact running order is printed on the release; no total runtime is supplied.

Does the DVD include bonus features?

The supplied catalog information lists only the two concert discs and their track lists. No bonus features, booklet, or extra footage are confirmed, so do not assume them. If bonus material matters to you, verify the full package contents before ordering.

Who is this DVD for?

It suits viewers who want both 2016 Tokyo Dome nights and are comfortable with a two-disc set. It is not the right pick if you only want one night's setlist or a single-disc concert film.
