A fan-focused FAQ on the Mr.Children Tour 2004 シフクノオト DVD: disc contents, extras, and whether this 2004 tour live film belongs in your collection.
Quick answer
Buy it if you want a two-disc document of Mr.Children's シフクノオト-era tour with both concert footage and bonus live segments; skip it if you only want a single uninterrupted show or need remastered modern video, since the catalog lists no such specs.
Why this 2004 tour film splits across two discs
The set is organized as DISC1 and DISC2 rather than one long concert. DISC1 carries the main program plus a special live segment from Okinawa and a soccer feature; DISC2 continues with more songs, an interview and MC, then a special live segment from Osaka and a photo gallery. That structure matters if you like to watch a show in one sitting: you will change discs partway through.
The song list also leans on the シフクノオト era while reaching back to earlier singles, so it works as a snapshot of where the band stood in 2004 rather than a greatest-hits run.
The trade-off: extras versus a clean single concert
Documentary-style extras like the interview, MC and photo gallery add context but interrupt the concert flow. If you mainly want back-to-back performances, those segments are skippable; if you enjoy seeing the tour behind the scenes, they are the reason to choose this edition over a bare concert disc.
The catalog does not list region coding, runtime, or remastering details. Treat those as unknowns and confirm them on the product page or packaging before ordering if they are deal-breakers for you.
Mr.Children Tour 2004 シフクノオト DVD: common questions
- What exactly is on the two discs?
- DISC1 holds the opening and a run of songs including 終わりなき旅, 名もなき詩 and 掌, then SPECIAL LIVE at OKINAWA and SOCCER. DISC2 continues with youthful days, innocent world, くるみ, HERO, an interview and MC, then SPECIAL LIVE at OSAKA and JEN'S PHOTO.
- Is this a full concert or a compilation?
- It is a tour film built around the シフクノオト era, not a single uninterrupted concert. The main program is split across two discs, with bonus live segments from Okinawa and Osaka added rather than folded into one show.
- Who should buy this 2004 tour live film?
- Fans who want a 2004-era document with interviews and bonus live footage will get the most from it. If you prefer one clean concert with modern picture quality, this DVD may not be your first pick. Check whether you value extras over a single-disc concert before ordering.
- Does the DVD include subtitles or a remaster?
- The supplied catalog does not list subtitle languages, region code, runtime, or remastering. Those details are not confirmed here, so verify them on the product page if they affect your purchase.
