Category: Comparisons
Compare a DVD compilation of TV commercial tracks with a two-disc live film. Decide which Yuzu DVD fits your viewing style.
Quick answer
Choose the compilation 録歌選 1～ONE～ for quick access to favorite TV commercial tracks, or the live film LIVE FILMS 新世界 for a full concert experience with two distinct setlists.
Two different viewing purposes
A DVD compilation collects music videos or promotional clips, making it easy to rewatch specific songs without sitting through a full concert. A live film DVD captures an entire performance, often with stage visuals, crowd energy, and between-song moments.
Yuzu's 録歌選 1～ONE～ focuses on five tracks originally featured in TV commercials. It's a short, curated playlist. LIVE FILMS 新世界, on the other hand, spans two discs with a retro-future-themed set and a classical-style set, giving you a complete show.
Track depth and variety
The compilation DVD offers five songs, each paired with its original TV-CM. It's a snapshot of Yuzu's commercial work. The live film includes 25+ tracks across two discs, covering hits like "ユートピア" and "表裏一体" alongside medleys. If you want more music and a concert atmosphere, the live film wins on quantity and variety.
Packaging and extras
LIVE FILMS 新世界 comes as a two-disc set with separate retro-future and classical editions, each with its own setlist and visual style. The compilation DVD is a single disc with no alternative versions. For collectors who enjoy comparing different concert presentations, the live film offers more value.
