CROSS ROAD

Picked this up for the driving playlist and "CROSS ROAD" itself is that perfect mid-tempo rock track that builds into something bigger. "and I c" has a nice contrast with a softer, almost melancholic feel that rounds out the three-song set nicely.

Three tracks here and each one has that signature bittersweet energy Mr.Children does so well. The title track "CROSS ROAD" especially hit me with its layered guitars and emotional buildup. Just wish there was a fourth song to round it out.

The instrumental version really lets the melody shine, and the way "and I close to you" builds up gives me chills every time. I’ve had this single on repeat all week.
